Catch the all-electric raceboat championship happening in Jeddah this weekend

The countdown to the E1 Jeddah GP is officially on.

After making its global debut in Saudi Arabia last February, the championship’s stunning RaceBirds will re-enter familiar waters at the Jeddah Corniche on Friday January 24 and Saturday January 25.

This means there are just a few more days left until Tom Brady, Will Smith, and a number of other celebrity owners prepare their teams for this season’s UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF.

Here’s what to expect at the E1 Jeddah GP event this weekend.

Qualifying for the E1 Jeddah GP will take place on Friday January 24, followed by the main race at 4pm (local time) on Saturday January 25.

The teams each feature male and female pilots sharing driving duties. They are owned by some of the most renowned personalities worldwide, including the aforementioned Hollywood star Smith (Westbrook Racing), as well as Marc Anthony (Team Miami powered by Magnus) and Steve Aoki (Racing Team Aoki) from the entertainment industry.

From the world of sport, Brady (Team Brady), Kohli (Team Blue Rising), and Drogba (Team Drogba) are joined by Rafael Nadal (Team Rafa), while Marcelo Claure (Team Brazil by Claure) lends his expertise from the realm of entrepreneurship.

The inaugural season concluded with NFL legend Tom Brady’s Team Brady being named Champions of the Water, ahead of Will Smith’s Westbrook Racing and Marc Anthony’s Team Miami powered by Magnus.

Fans who want to witness the exhilarating racing up close this weekend can attend the event for free, but they must book tickets via WeBook to access the general spectator area.
