Iconic Mykonos hotspot Nammos to open a resort in AMAALA
Located at the stunning Triple Bay, Nammos Resort AMAALA will welcome guests later this year…
Pack your bags… there’s a stunning Nammos Resort coming to AMAALA.
Set to open later this year, Nammos Resort AMAALA will be located at the stunning Triple Bay on the exclusive Hijaz Island off the resort’s coast.
And yes, for the uninitiated, the beloved beach club brand – which boasts sun-soaked spots in Mykonos, Dubai, Cannes, Qatar, and London – has expanded into hotels. Nammos Hotels and Resorts (NHR), an extension of the brand’s refined, fun-loving beachside dining experience, is a new hospitality brand from Alpha Dhabi and Monterock International.
Guests checking in to Nammos Resort AMAALA can expect striking Greek and Saudi aesthetics. Designed by Foster + Partners, the exterior draws inspiration from traditional Hijazi architecture.
Step inside, and you’ll notice the timeless elegance of Mykonos’ Cycladic style outfitted with terrazzo flooring, textured walls, traditional archways, a refined colour palette of aquamarine, white, and gold, and soft marble finishes.
The result? A contemporary Mediterranean ambience. How dreamy.
The 110-key beachfront property offers ocean views, while the 20 branded residences provide waterfront views of the AMAALA Marina and Corallium Marine Life Institute.
It also features a luxury spa providing serene rejuvenation, a state-of-the-art fitness centre for health and wellness enthusiasts, and a Children’s Club, ideal for family-friendly experiences.
Dining-wise, Nammos Resort AMAALA includes Horizon Bar, with sunset views of the Red Sea; Nalu Restaurant, an all-day restaurant blending Latin American and Asian flavours with cascading pools that lead to the resort’s main beach; and Omnia Restaurant, an international restaurant featuring a rotating line-up of guest chefs and brands.
But the highlight will be Nammos Restaurant, which is accessible only by boat from the Marina Village jetty and is exclusive to guests staying at AMAALA’s resorts. Here, you can enjoy stunning sunset views, private cabanas, and an infinity pool that seems to float over the Red Sea.
Nammos Resort AMAALA is Nammos Hotels & Resorts’ first hotel outside of Greece, making the Saudi Arabian outpost its international debut. It is also the second resort in the brand portfolio.
The first masterplan of AMAALA, centred on the Triple Bay development, is progressing well, with the first guests expected to arrive in 2025 at the destination’s 1,400 keys across eight hotels. Triple Bay will eventually feature 12 resorts and three residential communities.
Upon full completion, AMAALA will boast approximately 4,000 hotel rooms across 30 hotels and approximately 1,200 luxury residential villas, apartments, and estate homes. The development will also include vibrant marinas for the global yachting community and high-end retail, fine dining, wellness, and recreational facilities.
Nammos Resort AMAALA, opens late 2025.
