Stay safe out there
While the heat has truly been unbearable this summer (or maybe we just forget just how bad it gets each year), we’re about to get a touch of rain here in Saudi Arabia. Here’s everything we know about the rainfall to hit Saudi regions this week.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM forecast), moderate to heavy rainfall is set to continue until the middle of next week in most regions of Saudi Arabia.

The rainy weather is expected to take over Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Tabuk, and Madinah, with a chance for light to moderate rainfall in parts of the Riyadh region. Heavy rainfall is expected in the highlands of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah.
The NCM has asked the public to follow the weather reports on its website and media platforms and to adhere to the instructions of the relevant authorities to ensure public safety. The website now offers early weather warnings, reports, electronic services, and more.
When the newly established centre was launched, the aim was to provide high-quality weather and climate services to protect lives and support development. The NCM offers everything related to meteorology locally, regionally, and internationally, based on a modern and flexible institutional framework in accordance with the best international practices in this field.
