Just over the course of this year, we’ve seen many viral trends come and go. The Dubai chocolate craze and Labubu infatuation come to mind for one. Now, we’ve got the trendy 0.0 per cent beer in Riyadh making rounds on social media. And if you know just the video we’re talking about, well, have we got just the place for you.

Located on Riyadh’s famous Tahlia Street, A12 is rolling out the next best thing, be it drinks or desserts. The cafe is now serving traditional German beer from Warsteiner, and videos of Saudi residents and locals have been taking over TikTok feeds all over the country.

The beer, produced by the Warsteiner Brewery, which was founded in 1753, is now one of the largest privately held breweries in Germany. Fret not, though; the version being served in KSA, while it may look otherwise, is completely alcohol-free.

The cafe’s manager, Abdullah Islam, told AFP that they wanted to give people “a fun experience they can share on social media.” He said many more customers have visited since the drink was introduced.

Ready-made options

Asahi

Originally from Japan, the Asahi 0.0 percent beer options include the Asahi Super Dry 0.0 per cent and Asahi Dry Zero. Both of these are lager-style beers, known for their refreshing taste made using ingredients like water, barley malt, and hops. The beverages are available on Amazon, Ninja, and restaurants like Tokyo

Corona

Corona, a global brand headquartered in Mexico, also offers a 0.0 per cent option, better known as Corona Cero. The drink is available in Carrefour, Tamimi, and even HungerStation.

Guinnesse

Another major brand, Guinness is originally from Dublin, Ireland, and might just be one of the most popular ones worldwide. The 0.0 per cent option is available in Tamimi and Carrefour.
