The Transport General Authority (TGA) has called on individuals and businesses to register their Saudi national address ahead of the implementation of the rule that requires all parcel-delivery companies to refrain from receiving or transporting any postal shipments without the national address, starting from Thursday January 1, 2026.

Meaning that you only have 15 days before the decision goes into effect. The Authority confirmed that this decision comes as a strategic step aimed at improving customer experience and accelerating delivery processes, in addition to reducing unnecessary communications between couriers and beneficiaries.
This contributes to achieving the highest standards of accuracy and smoothness in the operational processes of parcel-delivery companies.
TGA also noted that adopting the national address contributes to accurately identifying residential and commercial locations, which supports improving the efficiency of logistics services.
How to register your Saudi national address
The Authority has stated that all individuals can access their National Address through the official National Address platform, as well as via the Absher and Tawakkalna platforms, in addition to the Sehhaty and SPL platforms.
The steps:
- Log in to the gov.sa using your username and password registered on the Absher platform.
- Click (Start Service).
- Sign in with National Sign-On (NAFATH)
- Fill in the required data.
- Register your address.
- The activation will be ready within 24 h.
- After submitting, you will receive a notification of the transaction number.
