We’ll be honest: when the news first dropped that Bacha Coffee was coming to Saudi Arabia, we got very excited. And now that it’s officially open? Let’s just say the hype was definitely justified.

The legendary Moroccan coffee house – founded in 1910 in Marrakech – has officially opened in Riyadh with a grand flagship at Solitaire Mall, and it’s every bit as beautiful, indulgent, and caffeine-fuelled as we hoped it would be.
This isn’t just a coffee stop. Bacha Coffee is recognised for its impressive selection of over 200 100% Arabica speciality coffees sourced from 35 countries. This is serious coffee territory.
Spanning 250 square metres on the mall’s ground floor, the flagship brings together the Bacha Coffee Room, Coffee Boutique, and Takeaway all in one seamless space. Whether you’re popping in for a quick cup, picking up a gift, or settling in for a long, lingering coffee date, it all works beautifully.

Inside the Bacha Coffee Room, there’s seating for 50 guests across chic indoor areas and sunlit terraces. The design is truly striking: checkered marble floors, geometric trellises, warm saffron accents – all inspired by the grandeur of Dar el Bacha, the brand’s historic birthplace in Marrakech, but reimagined for modern Riyadh.
The Bacha Coffee Boutique is a dream for coffee lovers. Caution: This is where you’ll want to browse slowly (and probably leave with more than planned).
From the ever-favoured Bacha Coffee Bag Collection that features delights such as the Tolteca Chocolate Coffee or the single origin Mount Everest Coffee, to the beautiful Signature Nomad Collection’s rare Blue Mountain Wallenford Coffee and Yemen-sourced Grand Moka Matari Coffee, it’s hard not to linger.
Add in beautifully designed accessories and bespoke gift hampers, and you’ve got gifting sorted for basically everyone.

Your coffee, available hot or iced, arrives on a silver-toned tray with a serving of vanilla bean-flecked Chantilly cream, a raw sugar stick, a wooden spoon and a reusable glass straw – the works.
It’s proof that even coffee to go can feel special. Plus, we highly recommend pairing your cup with one of their signature filled croissants, from pistachio to red-berry compote, or the I Love Paris.
