Shakira is set to light up the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2026 in Jeddah

Waka Waka vibes loading at the track

Fast cars, Kygo on post-race duties, and now… hips that don’t lie.

It’s just been confirmed that global megastar Shakira will light up the Main Stage at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday April 19, after the conclusion of the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2026.

The multi-GRAMMY award winner is riding a major career high. Fresh off the success of her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, and a record-breaking global stadium tour, Shakira continues to prove she’s as unstoppable as ever.

She is the most-viewed female Latin artist, and one of the top 10 artists of all time on YouTube with over 27 billion cumulative views, and the most-streamed female Latin artist of all time on Spotify.

So, be sure to stop by after watching the race to experience the Colombian singer-songwriter in person. Shakira will be bringing a hit-packed set and the kind of energy that turns a crowd into a dancing, singing blur.

If you have ever moved to Whenever, Wherever, shouted along to Hips Don’t Lie or felt strangely emotional during Waka Waka, this is your chance.

The confirmation of Shakira’s performance offers an early taste of the headline entertainment set to define the Grand Prix weekend, with more A-list performers expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Over three adrenaline-fuelled days – from Friday April 17 to Sunday April 19 – fans can look forward to a seamless blend of elite motorsport and live music that goes far beyond the track.

What’s new for the 2026 F1 season?

It’s shaping up to be a landmark event, with the introduction of the next generation of cars under the sport’s new regulations, designed to deliver closer and more unpredictable racing. The grid will also expand with Cadillac joining as an 11th team, while Audi makes its long-awaited debut.
