A rare 6-hands dinner is coming to Café Boulud Riyadh this weekend

It’s one you don’t want to miss

Riyadh’s dining scene is about to get a little more exciting.

Tucked inside the elegant Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, Café Boulud Riyadh is hosting something special this weekend – a two-night-only 6 Hands Dinner featuring three standout chefs and a collaborative menu.

Happening on Friday May 1 and Saturday May 2, this isn’t just another night out at Riyadh’s fine dining spot. It’s a carefully choreographed evening where different culinary styles meet, overlap, and elevate one another.

Café Boulud Riyadh

At the helm is Thierry Motsch, Chef de Cuisine at Café Boulud and Julien by Daniel Boulud at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, whose Parisian training and years in some of the world’s most refined kitchens underpin the menu. But this isn’t a solo act.

Joining him are Ruba Khoury and Ahlam Alsharief, two chefs known for bringing emotion, storytelling, and regional depth into their cooking.

Together, they bring French technique, modern creativity, and Middle Eastern influence to one menu. Think of it less as fusion and more as a dialogue on a plate.

What the evening looks (and tastes) like

The experience starts with a series of delicate amuse-bouche.

From there, guests can choose from starters such as a vibrant stuffed heirloom tomato or a beautifully composed red beetroot tartare. Mains draw on both land and sea: a locally sourced sea bass paired with pil pil sauce and zaatar baladi, or a rich Angus beef finished with a mushroom crust, tamarind foam, and glazed asparagus.

And then comes dessert, featuring a yuzu crème brûlée layered with Saudi-grown fruits such as Jazan mango and Taif prickly pear, balanced with passion fruit for a bright, unexpected finish.

Three chefs, one shared philosophy

More than anything, it’s the collaboration that makes this dinner interesting.

Chef Motsch brings precision and restraint, shaped by years working alongside legends like Alain Ducasse, Yannick Alléno, and Daniel Boulud.

Chef Ruba Khoury approaches food as storytelling. Her dishes often feel personal, rooted in memory and culture.

Chef Ahlam Alsharief, meanwhile, blends Saudi heritage with modern technique, creating flavours that feel both familiar and completely reimagined.

The result? A menu that doesn’t just impress – you’ll still be thinking about it the next day.

So, if you want to have a chance to try the dishes from this culinary crossover, you should be quick. We’d imagine it would draw a crowd.
