The Riyadh Zoo has finally re-opened its doors
Tickets are now available
If you grew up in or have lived in the capital for a hot minute, you must have many fond memories of Al Malaz Park or the Riyadh Zoo (several school trips come to mind), which has now reopened its doors in the heart of Al Malaz, after closing in January. Promising fun for the whole family, read on to find out how to get Riyadh Zoo tickets.
Featuring 1,500 animals from 190 species, the Riyadh Zoo has been completely revamped with vibrant zones, daily shows, and engaging activities. The zone welcomes animals from all over the world.
Since its opening in 1957, the zoo has been more than just a fun destination; it has remained a cherished family oasis, opening its windows onto a world brimming with wonder and discovery, offering visitors exceptional experiences, from moments of playing with the animals to the opportunity to feed them under the supervision of the expert guides.

Your journey at the zoo begins with the Pink Lake area, which includes flamingos, parrots, and songbirds. While the Enchanted Forest area showcases majestic giraffes, bears, and zebras in an atmosphere that resembles the African jungle, you can enjoy feeding the giraffes and taking many souvenir photos with them.
Then there’s The Swamp, which offers a spectacular opportunity to explore the world of lakes, where you can see crocodiles, tigers, and hippos. Moving along, step into Wild Adventures and explore the world of lions, elephants, and deer.

Don’t miss out on the Ape Escape area, which allows you to learn about different types of monkeys in a fun educational atmosphere. Lastly, in the Malaz Bay area, you will find Russian kangaroos, as well as owls and various farm animals, in a warm and distinctive family atmosphere.
The park also includes a variety of restaurants offering delicious dishes and drinks, allowing visitors and their children to relax and rejuvenate after their enjoyable journeys among the animal world, from local dishes and fast food to delicious international cuisine, to satisfy all tastes.
