Raffles Jeddah is now open along the city’s historic Corniche

The long-awaited luxury hotel brings sea-view suites, elegant dining concepts, and the legendary Raffles butler service to Jeddah’s waterfront

There’s a glamorous new address lighting up Jeddah’s waterfront. Enter Raffles Jeddah, the highly anticipated luxury hotel, now welcoming guests along the city’s historic Corniche. And bookings are now officially available.

Marking the second Raffles property in Saudi Arabia after Raffles Makkah Palace, the new opening brings the brand’s signature old-world glamour and highly personalised hospitality to one of the Kingdom’s most vibrant coastal cities.

Positioned along the Corniche with sweeping Red Sea views, the hotel places guests within easy reach of some of Jeddah’s most popular attractions, including Fakieh Aquarium, Al Shallal Theme Park and Red Sea Mall, while King Abdulaziz International Airport is about 25 minutes away.

Inspired by Jeddah’s rich maritime heritage, the hotel’s contemporary architecture incorporates traditional Hejazi design influences with regional craftsmanship and modern sophistication.

Think intricate mashrabiya screens and carved wood latticework, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow.

Guests arrive through a striking golden entrance, a subtle homage to the Raffles legacy and the golden age of travel, before entering a light-filled lobby where sculptural columns and iridescent surfaces draw inspiration from sunlight on the Red Sea.

Lace-like wall motifs reference the ornate plasterwork of Jeddah’s historic Al-Balad district, and a curated collection of contemporary works by leading Saudi and Middle Eastern artists is woven throughout the property.

The hotel features 182 guestrooms and suites, including 40 suites, all with uninterrupted sea views. Ranging from a generous 66 square metres, the rooms are among the largest in Jeddah, with soft pastel tones inspired by the ever-changing colours of the sea and sky.

Dining also takes centre stage at the property. Surl’O, the hotel’s all-day brasserie overlooking the waterfront, blends Eastern and Western culinary influences within a sharing-style concept tailored to Jeddah’s evolving food scene.

Meanwhile, Atorie Lounge & Patisserie brings together French pâtisserie and Japanese precision, serving everything from matcha éclairs to elegant afternoon teas and creative evening mocktails.

And there’s more still to come. A third signature restaurant concept, inspired by Mediterranean coastal living, is expected to open at a later date, promising a refined dining experience centred on the rhythm and beauty of the sea.

For wellness lovers, the Raffles Spa and Wellness offers dedicated wellness spaces for ladies and gentlemen, complete with Moroccan hammams, treatment rooms, fitness centres, swimming pools, and a private couple’s suite.

The hotel also caters for large-scale celebrations and events, with six meeting rooms, VIP lounges, business facilities, and the dramatic Pearl and Crystal Ballrooms, suspended above the plaza and offering floor-to-ceiling city views.

With its refined hospitality, thoughtful design, and a prime Corniche setting, Raffles Jeddah is shaping up to be one of the city’s most exciting new luxury hotels. And honestly, we can’t wait to check in for ourselves.
