Saudi Arabia is launching a multiple entry Umrah visa
Here’s what’s changing
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has just announced the introduction of a multiple-entry Umrah visa in Saudi Arabia. This is what we know so far.
The multiple-entry Umrah visa in Saudi Arabia will allow visitors to enter the Kingdom several times over one year, with a cumulative stay of up to 90 days, per Gulf News.

The new visa will be valid for 365 days from the date of issuance and will allow beneficiaries to make multiple entries into Saudi Arabia, subject to meeting regulatory requirements.
This new initiative supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program. The goal is to make arrivals into the Kingdom easier by improving the pilgrim experience and enhancing service efficiency, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The ministry also stressed that the visa enhances flexibility in planning visits and supports the integration of digital and operational services throughout the pilgrim’s journey.
How it works
Each visit requires purchasing a service package from an approved provider on the Nusuk platform. When booking, visitors must ensure that the package duration does not exceed the remaining days available on the visa. Visitors also need to make sure they’ve already issued an Umrah permit via the Nusuk application before arrival.
The visa will then be deactivated after each departure and reactivated upon meeting regulatory requirements for the next visit. It will not be activated during the Hajj season, from the first of Dhu Al-Qi’dah to the 13th of Dhu Al-Hijjah.
Other visa updates
Saudi Arabia announced a new Visa Package to make planning a holiday to the Kingdom much simpler. Now, the Ministry of Tourism has revealed the first six countries whose citizens can take advantage of the new system. Visitors from Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan and Mexico can now apply electronically for a Saudi tourist visa as part of a bundled travel booking, without submitting a separate visa application.
