The American singer, songwriter, pianist, and record producer is an EGOT winner, having won all the major entertainment awards – the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony – during his career. He is best known for his soulful RnB ballads such as Ordinary People, All of Me and Love Me Now.
The hitmaker has just released his eighth studio album, Legend, last month.
We’re hoping the 43-year-old music sensation will roll out all the classics, including the hits Used to Love U, Stay With You and Ordinary People from his 2004 Grammy Award-winning debut album, Get Lifted. And, of course, not forgetting other crowd-pleasers, from Tonight (Best You Ever Had) to Penthouse Floor and Green Light, our all-time favourite from his 2008 studio album Evolver.
Legend is among other A-list stars who have recently added AlUla to their tours. Legendary Irish boyband Westlife performed at the Maraya Concert Hall last month, while Grammy award-winning band OneRepublic will hit the historical site’s stage on November 10.
November’s line-up at the award-winning Maraya also includes Faia Younan, who returns to AlUla for a second time. The Assyrian-Syrian singer, considered the first Middle Eastern artist ever to crowdfund her debut, is known for her passionate voice and emphasis on song lyrics that carry a message.
