One of Riyadh’s all-time favourite cafes, Urth Caffe makes one of the matchas in town. A healthier version of coffee, Matcha is slowly becoming the drink of choice in Riyadh. The cosy spot’s interior includes exposed brick walls, black-and-white snapshots of the city and more, plus warm colours spread across the space.

Riyadh runs on caffeine. And when there’s a whole exhibition dedicated to the two main sources of it for us (tea and coffee), you can count us in. You can check out diverse, ancient coffee and tea varieties from around the world.

Tuck into pastries at Sucre de Nada

Sucre de Nada is a homemade patisserie serving up fresh desserts and snacks in the heart of Riyadh. You can dig into the amazing croissant selection, freshly baked cookies like the popular triple chocolate sea salt and hazelnut caramel.

Tuesday June 6

Have breakfast at AOK Kitchen

They say the early bird gets the worm, in this case, the early bird gets to have brekkie at one of the best venues in town. Few venues are more popular than A.O.K Kitchen when it comes to Riyadh breakfast restaurants. The spot is known for its inclusive menu which features limited gluten, dairy and refined sugar. The spot first opened in June 2022 in Riyadh and its dishes mostly include Mediterranean and Californian flavours.
