Video games based on anime have been and remain popular, especially in Saudi Arabia, the hotspot of the gaming industry among Arab countries.
And if you’re a fan of the popular “Grendizer” anime series, here’s a reason to rejoice. Riyadh-based Manga Productions, a subsidiary of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s MiSK Foundation, is launching its new video game “UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves” on Tuesday November 14.
The Saudi film production company has collaborated with French video game firm, Microids, to develop the game, bringing the places and characters of the TV series to life.
“UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves” will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will be available in 2024.
This new game will follow the first story arc of the anime series, which was created by the Mangaka Go Nagai, giving players a chance to revisit the most iconic moments of this epic adventure.
Fans of the show will be thrilled to hear that the game will feature the memorable musical themes from the anime, re-orchestrated for an even more immersive experience. These musical themes have been a crucial part of the anime’s success, and players will be able to enjoy them in an interactive way.

What can gamers expect from “UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves”?
In this action-adventure game, there’s a lot of exploration and action to partake in. You can play as Umon Daisuke and his colossal robot while fighting in epic battles with multiple gameplays: Piloting the Spazer (flying module where Grendizer is housed), vertical shoot-them-up in the Kôji Kabuto’s TFO, and third-person action/combat by controlling Grendizer.
The game will also let players execute his devastating attacks to destroy the terrifying Monstronefs and save the earth. Additionally, players get to earn experience points while completing missions to achieve new abilities and upgrade their powers.
“UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves” will be available in two editions. The Deluxe version will have the complete game, a keychain, a two-picture poster, an exclusive SteelBook, and a poster, while a Collector’s edition will include items from the Deluxe, as well as a collector’s box, an exclusive Grendizer figurine, a set of three pins, four art prints, an art book, and a golden ticket.
