Gamers8 is a gift that keeps on giving. The massive Esports festival is not only bringing major gaming competitions to the city like ones for tactical combat games like Rainbow Six Siege and StarCraft and fighting game Tekken 7, and we’re also getting to see the world’s largest cosplay competition like Gamers8 Cosplay Cup.
Happening Sunday August 27 to Monday August 28 at the Mohammed Abdo Arena, the Cosplay Cup will be supported by the World Cosplay Summit from Japan and feature participants from over 45 countries.

There will be over 100 international cosplay teams taking part in the event. Across the two-day event, you’ll be able to catch world-class cosplay action and watch on as the incredible cosplayers bring their characters to life right in front of you.
With a prize pool of USD100,000, the competition is where you can immerse yourself in a world of cosplay culture, musical performances, meet and greets, and a parade too. The Gamers8 Cosplay Competition will begin each day at 8.15pm and last for two hours each day.
Tickets for the event have already gone on sale and will cost SAR35 per day and SAR64 for two days. Group packages are also available for groups of four to six friends starting from SAR128 here.
