Comic Con is headed back to Jeddah

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to dress up (other than spooky season at the end of the month), you’ll be happy to know Jeddah Comic Con 2023 is coming up next month.
The cool event is making a comeback on Thursday November 30 until Friday December 1. The two-day event will be taking over the Jeddah Convention Center.

Comic-Con Arabia is a major pop culture event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event offers an opportunity for fanatics to geek out about all things comic books, manga, anime, film, television, science fiction, and video games, plus you get to go home with a bunch of collectables to remember the days by too.
We’re also expecting different workshops, including topics like costume workshops, cosplay competitions, and more at the latest edition of the festival. One of the main guests has also been announced, and it’s a Mexican-American pro wrestler called Sin Cara.
The festival will also include an E-Sports area, a fan art competition, an escape room, a selfie museum, and a Japan experience.

The first edition of the major event was actually the first-ever mixed-gender event in Riyadh. More than 24,000 people attended to meet prime international headliner Jason Momoa, a.k.a Aquaman, from the DC Universe.
Comic Con aims to bring together thousands of enthusiasts to celebrate shared interests. The event also aims to highlight local talents, constantly welcome new international artists, and connect fans to creators.
