The man of the hour, Elie Saab, is a Lebanese designer who’s recently opened up a new flagship store that exudes luxury to its core at Riyadh Season’s Via Riyadh.
Elie Saab’s main workshop is located in Lebanon, with additional workshops in fashion capitals like Milan and Paris. The incredibly talented designer started his business in the early 1980s and specialised in bridal couture.

Being the first Lebanese to be admitted to the fashion industry’s governing body, Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, Saab started off dressing women in his neighbourhood, where his reputation grew, and high-society women started sporting his designs.
Since then, Saab has gone on to become the first non-Italian designer to become a member of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and was also the first Lebanese designer to dress an Oscar winner, Halle Berry, in 2002.
When it comes to Riyadh Season, the unique event will combine fashion and entertainment. According to Arab News, the house of Elie Saab will launch a collection for fall 2025 inspired by the spirit of Riyadh Season as part of the agreement.
While official dates are yet to be announced for the experience, stay tuned to What’s On Saudi Arabia for the latest.
