Five things you should know:
1. Enjoy top-notch golf by the world’s best golfers
120 of the world’s top players will compete, including Major champions, rising stars, and seasoned professionals. The line-up also features Major winner Lexi Thompson, who will go head-to-head with previous champion Georgia Hall, as they compete for their share of the US$5 million prize fund. There is also a solid Arabic representation in the field, with Moroccan duo Maha Haddioui and Inès Laklalech vying for the coveted prize and looking to become the first Arab winners of the tournament.
2. If you need a break from the excitement, head to the Sajah Market
It’s a bustling market stall set up for spectators who want to experience the rich tapestry of Saudi culture and heritage. Situated by the 10th tee, spectators can purchase everything from clothes and accessories to perfumes and coffee from brands such as Deem, LOSER, Placard, Grenetch and more. There’s also an opportunity for you to meet Bachat Shamar up close, the celebrated camel, along with the second-place winner at the Crown Prince Shalfa King Abdulaziz Festival, Edition 8.
3. It’s food galore at this year’s fan zone
Refuel and recharge with the array of international delicacies on offer. French restaurant L’Entrecôte – renowned for its signature steak and chips paired with the legendary “Café de Paris” sauce – will also be there, located on the 10th Tee viewing platform. Here, you can enjoy the signature dish while taking in panoramic views of the Riyadh Golf Club and live golf action. A winning combo, if you ask us. Plus, with every adult ticket purchased, spectators will receive a food and drinks voucher worth SAR25.
4. There’s more family-friendly fun to be had at the fan zone
Inspired by what you see on the course? Try your hand at golf with mini-golf challenges or swing away in the hitting cages. Start your golf journey with the innovative SNAG Golf, a fun and easy way to learn golf, regardless of your skill level. Meanwhile, football enthusiasts can show off their skills at the Teqball table and Panna arena. The fan zone combines advanced virtual reality (VR) with a 360 photobooth. Equipped with the latest VR headsets and technology, it transports guests into diverse virtual worlds, from adventure to education, ensuring seamless and lifelike interaction.
5. There will be many #Golf&More activities to keep the mood lively
Look out for a captivating event showcasing traditional Saudi dances by Samri and Ardah on Thursday February 15 at the 10th tee, promising an unforgettable journey through Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage. The excitement extends from Friday to Sunday in the fan zone with DJ GeMctro and Couplet Music on the main stage, offering a vibrant mix of contemporary beats and traditional melodies to suit all musical tastes.
The best part? Tickets won’t burn a hole in your wallet and are still available for purchase. An adult day pass is going for just SAR75, including a SAR25 food and drinks voucher redeemable on-site. Even better: With under-18s going completely free, a family of four (two adults and two children) can attend for just SAR150, which includes a food voucher of SAR25 for each adult.
Looking to elevate your experience with the exclusive VIP package? Priced at SAR1,500, it offers the best seat in the house and grants you access to the luxurious 18th Hole Hospitality Suite. Watch players make their mark as they tackle the spectacular final hole on the course whilst enjoying premium buffet food.
