Pairidaeza: The restaurant that gives Levantine cuisine a new lease on life
Riyadh’s newest gem stands out from its peers for its sincere approach and contemporary execution…
Love Middle Eastern cuisine? Then, you will definitely be enamoured by the Levantine tastes, consisting of mezze platters, puddings, Arabic bread, and more. If you are intrigued and want to get a taste of it, head to Pairidaeza, a new restaurant at Park Inn by Radisson Riyadh – and it’s a beaut.
Pairidaeza, meaning ‘paradise’, draws its inspiration from lush Levantine gardens. The vibrant menu bridges Mediterranean specialities, with elements stretching from across the Levant to North Africa and Spain, and with a dose of modern culinary flare – to truly delicious effect.
The restaurant is known for its whole roasted cauliflower with a sprinkle of zhug and pickled lemon, and the sticky aubergine with pomegranate and feta – and rightly so. They perfectly showcase the restaurant’s innovative approach to classic recipes and contemporary preparation techniques. A dose of Middle Eastern heaven via food.
Although the flavours of this place really pack a punch, Pairidaeza’s interiors tone down its Middle Eastern influence, paying homage to its heritage through clean subtleties. With its sand and earthy tones and plenty of wood furnishings, Pairidaeza feels relaxed but distinctly chic – ideally suited for both casual and formal dining occasions, from intimate dinners to larger social events.
An outdoor terrace provides respite from the buzz of the indoor area, plus you can enjoy a host of modern Shisha varieties and a cherry-picked selection of beverages.
Don’t miss the curated non-alcoholic cocktails here, though. The beverage menu offers its own journey through taste and aroma, featuring a variety of handcrafted, punchy, and Middle Eastern-inspired drinks. With its smoothies, shakes, and traditional hot drinks, from Saudi Arabian and Turkish coffees to Moroccan tea, Pairidaeza has something flavourful for everyone to enjoy.
