Organised by the Swiss Embassy in Riyadh – in cooperation with the French Embassy and Alliance Française – as part of the Francophonie festival, celebrating the French language and Francophonie cultures, the event aims to showcase French-language Swiss music.
The lead artist, Marc, is a poet and singer whose work, described as “folklore with a modern twist”, centres on themes such as his travels, art, and national heritage. With eight albums and four singles, his songs are widely played in French-speaking countries.
Meanwhile, Milla is a singer-songwriter with concerts to her credit in French-speaking regions globally.
This is the first time the duo will perform in Saudi Arabia.
Their performance in Riyadh will feature their joint project “Glaneurs”, a compilation of 15 Swiss poems and songs which showcase the Swiss cultural heritage.
