Riyadh's top sushi spot Kimono has opened in Jeddah
The casual eatery is now open…
There are never enough Japanese restaurants we think, and Jeddah is now welcoming one of Riyadh’s favourite casual eateries. Kimono Jeddah is now open.
Setting up shop in the As Salamah district, Kimono first opened its doors in Riyadh in 2018 and has a strong focus on contemporary Japanese fusion cuisine at a price that doesn’t break the bank (which we love).

The menu features everything from diverse buns, sandos, and katsu dishes. Savoury specials on the Jeddah menu include crispy salmon rolls, popcorn shrimp, and sakura maki. For drinks, you can sip on Japanese lemonade and a cranberry mojito. Don’t forget to order a choco roll (creamy chocolate rolled in a Japanese-style crunchy biscuit crumble) for dessert.
Kimono will most likely become your go-to restaurant in Jeddah for a taste of its no-frills menu, top menu items also include poke bowls topped with shrimp, salmon, or even spicy tuna.

Currently operating three outlets in Riyadh, in Deem Plaza, One Square, and Roshn Front, the new Jeddah location is the first branch in the Red Sea City.
After being introduced to Jeddah during a pop-up stint during Jeddah Season 2023, Kimono was a hit with Jeddawis and talks of a permanent location began.
