It’s no secret that fried chicken is a massive draw in the capital, and Riyadh is getting new spots to enjoy the cuisine at constantly. And a spot we’ve been patiently waiting for is Ray’s Fried Chicken Riyadh, and it’s finally open now.
Originally from Jordan, the spot serves Nashville-style hot chicken in the heart of Riyadh. Look forward to sandwiches, tenders, and chicken and waffles (yes, finally).

On the menu, you’ll find Nashville’s tenders plus two homemade sauces and Nashville wings, the regular Ray’s sandwich, and a blue cheese sandwich (made with blue cheese, arugula, and cheese) at Ray’s Fried Chicken Riyadh.
The main attraction for us to this venue, in particular, has to be the chicken and waffles, on the menu, you’ll find it as the waffle sandwich served with syrup, pickles, and coleslaw.
After you pick your meal, you can pick your spice level too. Options include regular, mild, medium, hot, and Ray’s hot (order at your own risk).

At the casual spot, you can pick from mains like a Nashville sandwich, dos tacos, cheese melts, country sandwiches, and your regular three-piece tenders too. To spice things up (no, literally), you can pick from three spice levels including no heat (for the noobs), Nashville (a nice spice we’re told), and then a showstopping extreme (the not-so-for-the-noobs if you catch our drift).
