There's an international cat show coming to Riyadh

If you own a cat or know someone who does, you’re in luck. The first event of its kind in the Kingdom, the cat show in Riyadh will be happening as part of the Saudi Pet & Vet Expo.
Happening from Tuesday October 29 until Wednesday October 30, the Expo is the first and only pet exhibition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The international competition is judged by the President of the World Cat Federation (WCF), Ms. Anneliese Hackman and several international judges.
Each day, 100 cats from Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and the rest of the world will compete based on their breed, colour and date of birth. Points will be awarded based on body type, head, ears, eyes and hair.
Divided into two shows, one happening at 2pm and the next happening at 5pm, tickets are already on sale for SAR50. The event will be happening at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Esports World Cup
The first-ever Esports World Cup comes to Riyadh from July 4 until August 25, drawing the world’s top gaming talent to the Saudi Capital. An impressive 2,500 gamers are expected to partake in various events through the 8-week challenge, with an eye-watering USD60 million in prize money up for grabs. It’s taking place at Boulevard Riyadh City, with an after-party put on by MDLBeast each night from 8.30pm to 1.30am called AFT_R, with local and international artists headlining.
