AlUla’s home of events, AlUla Moments 2024-2025, has just unveiled the line-up for its new season, and this time around we can look forward to multiple festivals and events until the end of 2024 and until the beginning of 2025, including the welcome return of the highly-anticipated Winter at Tantora festival.
With major ragers like Azimuth making a comeback and more relaxing events like the AlUla Wellness Festival also happening, there’s bound to be something right up your alley somewhere along the season. Read on to find out more.
Azimuth
Happening from Thursday September 19 to Saturday 21, the event will kickstart the Saudi National Day celebrations.This time around, performing beneath the stunning backdrop of Qa’a AlHaj, the AZIMUTH 2024 line-up will surpass the more than 30 incredible local, regional, and international artists who starred in 2023.
The lineup includes world-famous artists like German producer and electronic music star Ben Böhmer, English singer-songwriter James Blake, and French electronic dance duo The Blaze.
You can also look forward to regional sensation Cosmicat alongside Ghostly Kisses, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, and Amine K.

AlUla Skies Festival
AlUla Skies 2024 is coming – and it’s super soon. The massive festival returns next month, and here’s everything we know about the return. Starting on Thursday September 26 and going on until Saturday October 5, AlUla Skies 2024 will be offering fun experiences day and night. During the day, you can book hot-air balloons that offer spectacular flights over AlUla’s breathtaking scenery. And then at night, you can return to Earth for under-the-stars picnics and stargazing experiences.

AlUla Wellness
Healthy hedonists, unite. Come and experience wellness on a whole new level at the AlUla Wellness Festival, which will be making its much-anticipated return from Thursday October 17 to Saturday November 2.
Set within the stunning landscapes of AlUla, the festival brings together wellness experts and enthusiasts for a 17-day journey through holistic renewal, self-reflection, healing, and immersion in nature led by industry experts such as Marisa Peer, Dr Khaled Ghattass, Koya Webb, Sul Aolado and more.

Ancient Kingdoms Festival
Happening from Thursday November 7 to Saturday November 3o, the Ancient Kingdom, this festival is AlUla brings the past into the present with experiences inspired by the significance of 7,000 years of successive civilizations on the Arabian Peninsula and the famed incense road trading route that cemented AlUla as the bustling commercial and cultural crossroad.

Winter at Tantora
AlUla will see the return of Winter at Tantora, from Thursday December 19 to Thursday January 9, 2025 AlUla’s longest-running festival features the best of fine arts, music, fashion, and food. Last year’s festival saw the region’s first-ever food festival and so much more.

Richard Mille Desert Polo
Set against the magnificently dramatic backdrop of the AlUla canyons and the extraordinary landscapes of the Equestrian Village, near Saudi Arabia’s first Unesco World Heritage Site of Hegra, the tournament – widely regarded as the Sport of Kings – is played out in a purpose-built desert arena. The massive event returns on January 15 to January 18, 2025.

AlUla Trail Race
This is AlUla’s ultimate winter running challenge that’s going to happen in January 2025. This ultramarathon takes competitors through some of the most gorgeous sites in the Kingdom in January 2025.
AlUla Arts Festival
AlUla Arts Festival is set to be a must-visit event on the global arts calendar. The festival will offer everything from curated contemporary art to gigantic outdoor art installations, craft workshops to artists’ residencies.

AlUla Tour
From January 28 to February 1, watch the world’s best cyclists race in the AlUla Tour, a five-day showcase of top-tier athletic competition. AlFursan Cup

Scheduled from February 6 to February 8, 2025, AlFursan Cup is the absolute true test of strength. Riders and their horses will challenge AlUla’s rugged terrain in a series of demanding endurance competitions, and battle it out to be on top.

AlUla Falcon Cup
The largest event of its kind in the Kingdom, the AlUla Falcon Cup is where skilled falconers from across the globe compete in a championship to put a spotlight on Saudi Arabia’s deep-rooted tradition of falconry and showcases the skill and dedication of both birds of prey and handlers. The event will happen from February 9 to February 15.

AlUla Camel Cup
Have you ever witnessed a camel race? Well now’s your chance. Organised by the Saudi Camel Racing Federation (SCRF), the event will be happening in April 2025 across four days. AlMughayra Heritage Sports Village will come alive as it celebrates tradition and speed.
