There is something you can always count on for a memorable time – enchanting candlelight concerts. After having delighted audiences worldwide, the wildly popular concert series continues illuminating Riyadh with its signature sea of candles.
Coming up on Friday September 27 is a concert at Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace on Beethoven’s Best Works. The performance will be brought to life by the incredibly talented pianist Ghida Knio, who will take guests on a journey through the composer’s iconic repertoire.
Prepare to be taken into the clouds with Beethoven’s most treasured masterpieces, such as “Fur Elise”, “Waldstein Sonata”, “Moonlight Sonata” and more. You don’t need to know all things Beethoven, though, to enjoy the evening; simply sit back and savour the stunning atmosphere and pieces you’ll hear.
One other Candlelight concert, also taking place at Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace, will pay tribute to the best of Hans Zimmer. The most awe-inspiring music from one of the greatest film composers of all time brought to you in an intimate candlelight setting.
To be held on Friday October 11, Hans Zimmer’s segment will comprise pieces like “This Land” (from The Lion King), “Time” (from Inception), “Day One” (from Interstellar), and “The Dark Knight” (from Batman), along with additional selections. Enjoy this special concert where the most loved film scores are brought to you by pianist Ghida Knio against the backdrop of the beautiful hotel space, glowing with the soft shimmer of Candlelight.
The alluring Candlelight series happens twice each night, and the back-to-back performances are each around 65 minutes long. Tickets are priced at SAR325 for Zone A, SAR275 for Zone B, and SAR225 for Zone C.
