Watch the best female golfers tee off at the Aramco Team Series in Riyadh
Tickets are now available for one of the capital’s marquee sports events…
Golfing in Saudi Arabia is already heating up, with the calendar featuring prestigious tournaments that would see some of the best players in the world teeing off on the courses. One of the events is the Aramco Team Series – Riyadh, which will be staged at the Riyadh Golf Club from Thursday October 31 to Saturday November 2.
The Aramco Team Series, which is part of the Ladies European Tour (LET), is held in five rounds. Riyadh is one of the five cities where the tournament’s rounds are held and the new home of Round Five of the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF.
The star-studded affair will see 28 teams of four (made up of three professionals and one amateur) battling it out to become the fifth Aramco Team Series champions of 2024.
In addition to the team event, there will also be a three-day individual stroke play golf competition among 84 pro golfers, whose individual title wins help contribute towards the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit and Rolex World Ranking points, adding further significance to the event.
Headlining the field this year will be defending champion Alison Lee, World No. 14 Charley Hull, major champion Georgia Hall, and 2024 Aramco Saudi Ladies International winner Patty Tavatanakit – who will all be bringing their A-game to the course at Riyadh Golf Club.
That green is set to see a lot of action
Whilst the tournament will see Riyadh Golf Club play host to world-class talent, it will also feature a state-of-the-art fan zone where spectators can put their own skills to the test.
Held in collaboration with Golf Saudi’s GOGOLF initiative, which aims to provide easy and enjoyable access to golf for all ages, the zone will give fans a chance to pick up tips to improve their game or kick off as total beginners alongside the thrilling action on the course.
This three-day golfing event will also feature a variety of entertainment options, live music, and a ‘taste flavours of the world’ culinary experience with delicious foods representing different cultures for spectators of all ages to enjoy throughout the fan zone.
Look out for fitness classes, football activations and 5-a-side matches, padel tournaments, and a charity fun run. There is also an array of games and activities, including mini golf, arts and crafts, soft play, a gaming console zone, and much more – perfect for a fun-filled weekend for the whole family.
Tickets are now available for purchase here, priced at just SAR50 for Thursday October 31, and SAR75 for Friday November 1 and Saturday November 2. All tickets are for general admission and come with a food and beverage voucher that can be redeemed on-site, which means you can spend the whole day soaking up all the excitement.
Even better: children under 16 enjoy free entry as long as they’re accompanied by a ticketed adult.
