If you’re a fan of cars, and more specifically, classic cars, then there’s one place you need to be in February. The Al Diriyah Classic Car Festival – the largest of its kind in the Middle East – is taking place, with over 500 classic and rare cars on display.
If this is the kind of thing that revs up your engine then keep your diary clear from February 27 to 29, 2020. The event will take place at the Al-Bujairi Park, Riyadh, providing three days of petrol-fuelled exhibitions and entertainment.
As well as having the chance to marvel at the wow-worthy classic cars, the event will be fun for the whole family. There will be lots of entertainment for adults and children, including a souvenir bazaar, a gallery of plastic arts and fun competitions.
The classic cars on display will be coming from all over the world, owned by people from Saudi Arabia as well as the countries of the Cooperation Council, Jordan, Lebanon, Italy and other countries. Prepare to be amazed.
There will be various festival contests for the best classic cars, which will be judged by 50 judges, with 25 of them coming from Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states and the Arab countries, as well as 25 judges from Europe, Africa and America.
The General Supervisor of the Organizing Committee for the Diriyah Festival for Classic Cars 2020, Dr. Nasser bin Abdullah al-Masaari, stressed on the importance of the Classic Car Festival held at the Diriyah Governorate from February 27 to 29.
It will be held under the direct support of Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman, Governor of Diriyah, and the auspices of the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA), organized by the Diriyah Archaeological Foundation.
