The weather is changing, and with that comes the occasional seasonal flu, and this bowl is just what the doctor ordered. Chinwa comes highly recommended, and rightfully so. We’re told the contemporary Chinese restaurant serves some of the best ramen in ramen in town. Options include the seafood (creamy broth, egg noodles, veggies, and mussels), chicken (broth, eggs, bok choy, carrots, and white cabbage), and beef (broth, eggs, bok choy, carrots, and white cabbage).

Grab your chopsticks for Shabu Shabu

Roka shabu-shabu

Another popular Japanese food is shabu-shabu. If you’ve never heard of nor had shabu-shabu, then you’re in for a treat. Roka, the contemporary Japanese robatayaki restaurant, is launching an exciting new dining experience – the shabu-shabu night – and it will satisfy meat-loving connoisseurs and hotpot enthusiasts. Shabu-shabu is a traditional Japanese hotpot meal in which diners cook their own ingredients at the table. The name “shabu-shabu”, meaning “swish swish” in Japanese, captures the sound of ingredients swirling in the pot.
