Organised by the Royal Commission for AlUla and the Saudi Polo Federation, the AlUla Desert Polo will bring together the world’s elite players, including the likes of Adolfo Cambiaso, David Stirling, and Nina Clarkin.
Offering you a rare chance to witness thrilling horsemanship and skilful ballplay, the exclusive AlUla Desert Polo 2025 will also cater to families, with a DJ setting the vibe and entertainment activities to keep the little ones entertained.
Returning as part of Winter at Tantora, fans of the magnificent tournament can expect high-quality matches that set the competition alight, featuring international patrons, royal dignitaries, and professional players, including women. The polo event has become a flagship event in the global equestrian calendar as well as a mainstay in Saudi Arabia’s sporting calendar.
AlUla Desert Polo has previously been hosted within the extraordinary landscapes of the AlFursan Equestrian Village, near Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra. The tournament, widely regarded as the Sport of Kings, is played out in a purpose-built desert arena.
While full details of the tournament haven’t been released just yet, keep it locked on What’s On Saudi Arabia, for the latest on anything and everything in Saudi.
