The first-ever Art Week Riyadh will be happening in April
Here’s everything we know…
Riyadh is no stranger to incredible art exhibitions happening all over the city, all the time (and we mean all the time), and now that the inaugural Art Week Riyadh will be taking over the capital, we’re set to welcome even more artistic excellence soon.
Happening from Sunday April 6 to Sunday April 13, the event will celebrate Saudi Arabia’s vibrant art scene, bringing together leading local and international galleries.

Cultural institutions and arts entities will also be participating in the event. The Art Week Riyadh will be held under the overarching theme, At The Edge. The week-long event will foster exchange, dialogue, and collaboration, inviting art enthusiasts to explore themes of thresholds, liminality, and transitions in art and culture.
The event, organized by the Visual Arts Commission under the Ministry of Culture, aims to reimagine an interconnected global arts ecosystem that contributes to Saudi Arabia’s creative economy.
Art Week Riyadh is using the hip and happening arts district, JAX, as its HQ, while several locations across the city are also expected to play host to exhibitions and displays.
The event is designed to nurture, celebrate, and position Riyadh as a global cultural destination. You can expect curated gallery exhibitions, rare displays of private collections, and a dynamic public offering of talks, workshops, and performances.
In the past few years, Saudi Arabia has also welcomed its first-ever Red Sea Fashion Week and has been welcoming Riyadh Fashion Week for the past two years too.
