British Airways doubles flights between Riyadh and London
The number of flights will be increased by the winter…
British Airways, the flag flight carrier of the UK, has just announced significant changes to its summer and winter 2025 routes. This is everything we know about the new British Airways Riyadh to London flights.
The airline has committed to increasing the flight count from seven flights a week to 13 flights a week between Riyadh (RUH) and London Heathrow (LHR).

According to the airline, the changes are being made to boost capacity on travel routes with high demand and optimize the schedule for better efficiency. Thus, the airline is expanding its services in Riyadh. Meanwhile, Jeddah will see minor frequency reductions to ensure a balanced network strategy.
The flight increase indicates a high level of commercial demand for travel between London and the capital of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, will also increase flights to London from Riyadh. This will provide both business and leisure travellers with greater flexibility and convenience.
When it comes to Jeddah, the airline will remove one weekly flight to and from the city while also adjusting operating days; this minor reduction optimizes British Airways’ scheduling. The carrier will maintain a three-flight-per-week schedule moving forward instead. The route made a comeback late last year, in November 2024, after a five-year break. The flights are operated by the Boeing 787 fleet.
The flights will be available to book soon on the British Airways website here.
