Aiming to offer audiences a unique cinematic experience within the Biennale’s dynamic cultural program, the Cinema Nights will also feature special appearances by filmmakers and actors for Q&A sessions.
You can also look forward to the Saudi Shorts weekend, which will celebrate local storytelling and a food symposium day, celebrating films with food as their central theme.
The screenings will come to an end on Thursday May 22, with a showing of Snow White by the Egyptian director Taghrid Abouelhassan, which is a lighthearted, fascinating mix of issues around marriage, disability, and sisterhood.
The Islamic Arts Biennale will be happening until Sunday May 25. The biennale is the first-of-its-kind biennial dedicated to the arts of Islamic civilization. Deep dive into the depths of Islamic artistry by presenting the rich and varied arts of Islamic civilization, both historical and contemporary.
