There's a brand-new marathon coming to Riyadh this weekend

Saudi Arabia’s been focusing a lot more on health, wellness, and sport, and with that comes a plethora of new marathons and races. Lace up your trainers for One Run Riyadh.
Coming to you courtesy of Race Arabia, the new marathon is happening on Saturday May 24. One Run Riyadh has a storied history in over 100 cities worldwide including Kuala Lampur, Abu Dhabi, Manama, and more.

From seasoned athletes to first-time participants, everyone is welcome to take part in this unique event with four distance options, including a 21-kilometer half marathon, 10-kilometres, five-kilometres, and a one-kilometer fun run.
At SAR180, the 21-kilometre is only available for people over the age of 16, followed by the 10-kilometre run at SAR135 which is only available to people over the age of 12, there’s also the five-kilometre race at SAR99 for runners over the age of eight.
Lastly there’s the one-kilometre fun run at SAR89 for people over the age of seven. Kit collection will take place on Thursday May 22 and Friday May 23, at the ASICS store in Al Nakheel Mall from 3pm to 8pm.
Race Arabia was established in 2019 and was born from a passion for running and other endurance sports. As endurance athletes themselves, the founders have started their journey by helping to increase sports participation in the Kingdom at the community level through community sports clubs.
