It’s time to register your favourites for the third edition of What’s On’s leading leisure and entertainment awards…

Last week, we announced the return of the What’s On Saudi Arabia Awards in September 2025. This exciting celebration of Saudi Arabia’s thriving hospitality and leisure scene will see winners crowned across 44 categories.

We’re excited to announce that registrations are now open. So if you are an F&B professional, or know of a restaurant that you want to register, you’re encouraged to register now via riyadh.platinumlist.net.

What’s On Saudi Arabia Awards 2025: The process

Registrations are now open. Pricing varies based on the number of outlets you register, with the cost of each venue entry starting from SAR431.25. Of course, the more outlets you register, the lesser the price for each.

What makes these awards special, though, is that they’re voted for by the public. So, those who decide the winners truly believe they’re the favourite in the business. Voting will then open on June 1 and close at the end of July. If you want your venue to be in with the best chance of winning, you’ll need to register ASAP, so you’ll have time to get as many votes in as possible.

Registration can also be done even after voting commences. However, we advise you to register early to make the most of the voting window.

Once the votes are in, we will welcome the country’s top local and international gastronomy and entertainment talents to a dazzling awards night at JW Marriott Hotel Riyadh on Tuesday September 16, 2025. It will be here that the winners of those coveted trophies will be announced.

The categories

This year, the awards have been extended to an impressive 44 categories, expanding to include new cuisines and experiences in Riyadh, and encompass restaurants, entertainment and leisure categories across the wider Kingdom, a testament to the accelerated growth in Jeddah, AlUla, the Eastern Province, and even The Red Sea.

Of the 44 categories, 41 are decided solely by public vote. But we couldn’t let you have all of the fun. Completing the awards categories are a trio of coveted Editor’s Choice awards, which will be handpicked by the editorial team. These are Homegrown Restaurant of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and Restaurant of the Year.
