The Apple iPhone 17 in Saudi Arabia: everything we know

Another year, another iPhone…

Apple is lining up the release of the new iPhone, which is rumoured to arrive in September 2025, if predicted from other releases. Here’s everything we know about the Apple iPhone 17 in Saudi Arabia.

According to various media reports, the new iPhone 17 might be released between September 11 and 13, with the new iPhone 17 Air following suit, which is actually the first notable redesign of the iPhone model in several years.

What’s new?

Changes are expected to be seen in several features of the new phone, including the camera, display, and processor, as well as arguably the most fun part, the colours, too.

Per MacRumors, the new iPhone is set to feature a redesigned rear camera module, larger display sizes, ProMotion across the lineup, Wi-Fi 7, and more. Speculations suggest that the upcoming device will have a display that’s around 6.6 inches, and be 6mm thick or less.

With new iPhones, we also get new iPhone colours each year. We don’t know what Apple has in the works this year (although one can hope the Barbie pink stays on).

When it comes to the cameras, Apple is rumoured to be working on a 24-megapixel front camera with a six-element lens; while the Pro Max version could include an upgraded 48-megapixel Telephoto camera. The basic iPhone 17 is rumoured to have the same Wide and Ultra Wide cameras, while the iPhone 17 Air is expected to get a single-lens 48-megapixel rear camera.

The pro and air models might even feature a complete design shift and feature a new rectangular camera bar with rounded corners. The iPhone 17 is expected to closely resemble the iPhone 16 camera bar (two cameras featured vertically in a pill-shaped camera nook).

The all-new ultra-thin phone doesn’t officially have a name yet (although it is being called iPhone 17 Air after other Apple variations) and is set to be the thinnest phone released by the brand to date.

When it comes to the processor, the phones are expected to feature A19 chip technology that’s likely built on an upgraded three-nanometer process. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to include an A19 Pro chip, while the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 slim could have the standard A19 chip.
