Watch: The roller coaster at Six Flags Qiddiya City takes shape
Falcons Flight, the world’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster, has taken off
Hold on tight, folks – this ride is about to get wild. Whether you’re seeking thrills or a family-friendly day out, you’ll soon be able to plan a visit to the much-anticipated Six Flags Qiddiya City.
The new theme park will feature 28 rides and attractions spread across six immersive themed lands: Steam Town, City of Thrills, Twilight Gardens, Grand Exposition, Discovery Springs, and Valley of Fortune.
The main attraction at Six Flags Qiddiya City? Falcons Flight, the world’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster. Appropriately, it will be part of the City of Thrills zone.
Falcons Flight isn’t just any roller coaster, though. It is a record-breaking marvel set to thrill adrenaline seekers from around the globe.
Standing at an imposing height of 195 metres (think a 60-storey building) and stretching over an incredible 4,325 metres (that’s around five Burj Khalifas), the Falcons Flight promises a ride like no other. With speeds reaching up to a mind-boggling 250 kilometres per hour, which goes as fast as an F1 car, this roller coaster is set to redefine the very essence of high-speed entertainment.
Falcons Flight is currently being tested at Six Flags Qiddiya City, and it looks pretty awesome.

It is expected that the ride will open in late 2025 alongside the rest of the park, which will have several other giant roller coasters, as well as the world’s tallest drop-tower ride, the Sirocco Tower.
While there will be some gentle rides here, the park is known for the ones that’ll push your heart into your mouth. So, expect adrenaline-pumping thrills for strong-stomached visitors.
Six Flags Qiddiya City is the first Six Flags to open outside of the United States. Construction on the park, located about 40 minutes from Riyadh, kicked off in 2018.
