Well, I’m here to tell you that while that is a part of spending summer here, it’s never the full experience. Monday July 21

Grab the gang and play at Magic Planet

Magic Planet is an emporium of family-friendly fun, complete with retro arcade games, soft play for little ones and even a trampoline park where guests of all ages can bounce around. There’s even a selection of rides, including the Chrystal Mine Train, bumper cars and a drop ‘n twist. Find it at Riyadh Front and Riyadh Park. You’ll need to buy a Magic Planet Card to use all the rides and games.

There’s a brand-new escape room in town. Experience The Box is now open in Al Malqa, and promises escape room experiences like no other. Expect fun and inventive puzzles, unique concepts, and so much more.

Not to be biased, but Kayzo is definitely one of my favourite venues in Riyadh. Be it for the delicious food or incredible ambiance, I always find my way back to the restaurant. There’s a free street food festival to check out

Happening until Friday July 25, the Culinary Arts Commission under the Ministry of Culture is hosting a cool new street food festival in Riyadh. Tuck into authentic dishes and distinctive flavours that reflect the history and culture of the different regions of the Kingdom. Visitors can also enjoy live cooking experiences, as well as authentic Saudi coffee and various types of Saudi Arabian dates. Look out for the ice cream cart featuring five distinct Saudi flavours – perfect for the hot summer weather.
