We chatted to the major rapper in Riyadh
Just as we thought summer would be a bit of a dead season for us here in Saudi Arabia, major rap sensations, legendary DJs, and local superstars started descending on Riyadh and Jeddah for Aft_r and ONYX courtesy of MDLBEAST.
The concerts take over the two shining cities every weekend on Thursdays and Fridays and turn both the capital and the Red Sea city into places to be. This past weekend, the country played host to major stars like Quavo, Metro Boomin, Don Diablo, Saud & Jeed, and a surprise appearance by Shaolin (in Riyadh). And we had the lucky lucky opportunity to sit down with Quavo in Riyadh after his Aft_r performance (see what I did there) for a quick round of questions (and we mean very quick).

Quavious Keyate Marshall, better known as Quavo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Previously part of the hip-hop group Migos with his nephew Takeoff and their mutual friend Offset, Quavo shot to fame with major hits like Versace, Notice Me, Bad and Boujee, and more.
Quavo followed up with success of his own on major collabs with Post Malone, Justin Bieber, and DJ Khaled. Without further ado, here’s What’s On in conversation with: Quavo.
What’s On: Riyadh today, Jeddah tomorrow, which city are you more excited to perform in?
Quavo: I’m just excited to be here man, it’s my second time here, and I can’t wait to get out there.
