A new retail and dining destination is coming to Diriyah
Jabal AlQurain Avenue will feature a dynamic mix of arts, retail, offices, and residences
Something exciting is on the horizon in Diriyah. Say hello to Jabal AlQurain Avenue, a new retail and dining area created to support Saudi and regional entrepreneurs.
Situated in the Qurain Cultural District in the Diriyah North district, the fully pedestrianised venue will feature 56 retail units covering 7,301 square metres and 15 food and beverage outlets spanning 2,248 square metres. Each building is designed in traditional Najdi architecture, reflecting Diriyah’s heritage as the birthplace of Saudi Arabia.
The brand-new cultural and commercial hub will also feature a dynamic mix of arts, retail, offices, and residences, inviting people to live, work, explore local brands, and enjoy authentic dining experiences.
Besides shopping and dining, you’ll also discover a variety of cultural academies and institutes, bringing a creative and educational atmosphere to the area.
When the Qurain Cultural District was announced in November last year, it was revealed that it would feature three world-class hotels and branded residences, including the 195-room Ritz-Carlton Diriyah with 165 residences, the Address Diriyah with 204 rooms and 60 serviced apartments, and the Four Seasons Diriyah with 150 rooms.
As part of Diriyah’s wider master plan, the city is expected to contribute SAR70 billion to Saudi Arabia’s GDP, create 180,000 jobs, and house around 100,000 residents. It will also include cultural venues such as the Royal Diriyah Opera House, Diriyah Arena, museums, a university, nearly 40 resorts and hotels, as well as amenities like the Greg Norman-designed championship golf course, the Royal Golf Club Wadi Safar, and the Royal Equestrian & Polo Club.
Commenting on the announcement of the launch of Jabal AlQurain Avenue, Diriyah Company Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo said, “Jabal AlQurain Avenue marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to make Diriyah a place where Saudi talent, innovation, and creativity can thrive and prosper.”
“We know there are incredible Saudi men and women across Diriyah, Riyadh and the Kingdom who have outstanding and innovative ideas in sectors like retail and food & beverage, and we are proud to provide a platform to nurture these entrepreneurs and help bring their concepts to life,” he added.
