From Thursday October 2 to Saturday October 4, Chef Marco Garfagnini – who earned his first Michelin star for his restaurant, Ristorante Ninan, in Carrara – and internationally renowned Chef Mixologist Matthias Giroud will be presenting a special Four Hands collaboration at Ariamare, the resort’s signature Mediterranean restaurant housed within its own gleaming silver orb.

The event will see the two maestros showcasing their culinary brilliance, combining Chef Marco’s signature style and cultural influences with Matthias’ innovative mixology.

As for what will transpire when the two come together? Expect the unexpected.

Guests will embark on a three-part culinary journey that unfolds through carefully selected pairings, shared stories, and a grand degustation finale, a dynamic crescendo of culinary excellence that reaffirms Shebara’s position as a world-class gastronomic destination.

Things will kick off tonight (Thursday October 2) with a Prelude of Pairings. The opening evening features a curated five-course set menu that pairs Chef Marco’s Mediterranean-inspired creations with bespoke beverages by Chef Matthias, while the unobstructed skies serve as a backdrop. Every dish is paired with precision, from the first delicate amuse-bouche to the final indulgent dessert, offering a refined introduction to the collaboration.

A Celebration of Sharing will take place on Friday October 3, when guests can expect to find an elevated sharing menu with theatrical table-side mixology, crafted to encourage interaction and the spirit of Mediterranean conviviality.

The three-night series concludes with a chef’s degustation menu on Saturday October 4. Guests can look forward to an evening of pure craftsmanship that unfolds like a symphony under the stars. At the centre of the stage is Ariamare’s glass-fronted Pasta Lab, where Chef Marco’s hand-rolled creations take the spotlight in a multi-course tasting menu. Each dish is an ode to seasonality and skill, while Chef Matthias’ rarefied cocktails mirror the mood and momentum of every bite. Together, they compose a final act that is intimate, immersive, and unforgettable, a crescendo of culinary storytelling that lingers long after the last toast is raised.
