Soundstorm drops another bombshell
Soundstorm 2025 is turning up the volume once more – this time with electronic music legend Armin van Buuren and rap star Lil Yachty headlining. From trance anthems to hip-hop beats, this year’s festival promises a brilliant blend of sounds and styles.
Armin van Buuren
Armin was ranked No.6 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll for 2024. In June, he released a new 51-track album, ‘Breathe Out’, his ninth studio album.
The Dutch DJ and record producer, best known for his hit song, This Is What It Feels Like, has been a long-time Soundstorm favourite. This year, he returns to the spotlight for what promises to be another unforgettable night.
Fans can anticipate an electrifying evening featuring cutting-edge production, spectacular visuals, and a euphoric, high-energy setlist that includes Armin’s popular tracks In and Out of Love, Blah Blah Blah, and Great Spirit, alongside selections from his new album.
Lil Yachty
Also lighting up the line-up is Lil Yachty, the Atlanta-born rapper whose experimental beats and bold style have reshaped the new wave of hip-hop.
Known for songs like One Night, Drive Me Crazy!, and Flex Up (with Future and Playboi Carti), he’s set to make his Saudi Arabia debut at Soundstorm 2025. Fresh off the release of his first solo single of the year, Murda, the Concrete Boys frontman is bringing his signature energy and unpredictable sound to the stage.

Soundstorm is the region’s boldest three-day music festival, held every December in Riyadh. Set in Banban, this year’s event will be held from Thursday December 11 to Saturday December 13, with hundreds of thousands of fans dancing to the beats of global, regional and local artists.
