Delta announces first-ever direct flights from Riyadh to the US

The flights will begin in 2026…

It’s been a historic year for airlines in Riyadh, with Riyadh Air taking off just yesterday, and now the first-ever direct flights from Riyadh to the US have just been announced.

The flights will start taking to the skies during winter 2026, specifically in October, on board Delta’s Airbus A350-900.

The flight will operate three times weekly on Delta’s Airbus A350-900, featuring four product experiences on board: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main.

The airline is all set to inaugurate nonstop service between the airline’s hub in Atlanta (ATL) to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (RUH).

When asked about the launch, Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines, said, “Launching service to Riyadh marks a key step in Delta’s global growth as we start our second century of flight. Our new flights will connect customers to this dynamic, fast-growing region while delivering the care, comfort, and reliability they expect. It reflects our bold vision to create meaningful opportunities and experiences in every corner of the world in the years ahead.”
