‘Gypsy Chef’ David Myers takes over The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah
Bringing the spirit of Adrift Mare to the shores of the Red Sea
Jeddah foodies, rejoice. Renowned chef and restaurateur David Myers, also known as the “Gypsy Chef,” has come to town. Adrift Mare is right in our own backyard, but only for a limited time.
Now through Thursday February 12, 2026, Chef Myers is teaming up with The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah to give Jeddawis a taste of the celebrated chef’s dishes.

Set within the first floor of the hotel, the Adrift Mare pop-up is a celebration of everything Chef Myers loves about coastal Mediterranean dining – “bright, soulful, and kissed by the grill”. Guests will indulge in vibrant crudos, wood-fired seafood and meats, and hand-crafted pastas in an atmosphere that captures both intimacy and indulgence.
When asked about the menu, Chef Myers shared, “From our signature lobster roll and handmade pastas to wood-fired seafood, prime cuts, and our own take on classic kebabs, each dish captures that relaxed coastal energy I love.”

To complement Chef Myers’ gastronomic offerings is a beverage partnership with Sei Bellissimi and Castello Monte Vibiano, two Italian brands celebrated for their craftsmanship and commitment to quality. Sei Bellissimi’s refined sparkling mocktails crafted by world-renowned mixologist Giancarlo Mancino introduce a modern aperitivo flair to the evening, balancing freshness with elegance.

Meanwhile, Castello Monte Vibiano, brings a touch of sustainability and heritage, with its award-winning oils enhancing both the cuisine and the culinary philosophy behind it. Together, these collaborations enrich the pop-up’s narrative, blending artistry, sustainability, and sensory delight into every moment.
With a culinary career that spans continents and a relentless appetite for food and travel, David Myers is a globally recognised chef, restaurateur and TV personality. Operating a chain of restaurants and cafes in food hotspots globally, Chef Myers explores local flavours and ingredients he discovers during his extensive travels, creating captivating culinary concepts.
