The time has come to determine who is the best at potting coloured balls into pockets… for this year, at least. We’re talking about the world’s best cue masters going head-to-head to see who can pot their way to glory.
Enter the Riyadh Season Snooker Championship 2025. Taking place at the Global Theatre in Boulevard City from Wednesday November 19 to Friday November 21, the championship is brought to you by Riyadh Season in partnership with the World Snooker Tour (WST).

The Riyadh Season Snooker Championship 2025 will feature a line-up of the world’s top snooker stars, including the legendary Ronnie O’Sullivan from England, Northern Ireland’s Mark Allen, Scotland’s John Higgins, Wales’ Mark Williams, as well as Ding Junhui and Zhao Xintong from China.
Making their tournament debut are the Saudi newcomers to watch: 15-year-old national junior champion Ziyad Al Qabbani, and Ayman Alamri, a three-time Saudi national champion – both entering as wildcards.
The event promises thrilling competition from the preliminary rounds through to the final on Friday November 21, with all rounds played in a best-of-seven format and the final in a best-of-nine format.
This year’s edition also brings back the exciting “Riyadh Season Golden Ball”, introduced by HE Turki Alalshikh. It’s worth 20 points and comes with a massive $1 million prize to the player who pots it, offering players the chance to set a record-breaking 167-point break – the highest ever in snooker history.
Tickets to attend and watch the Riyadh Season Snooker Championship 2025 can be booked via the Webook platform. As of the time of writing, tickets are still available for all three days, and at only SAR30, it’s easy on the wallet and big on excitement.
