Whenever Riyadh Season rolls around, Suwadi Park, a major landmark in Riyadh that opened in 1983, transforms into a cultural haven that celebrates a different culture every week. Starting this week, we’ll be celebrating Bangladesh Week at Suwaidi Park 2025.
Starting today, Wednesday November 11, until Friday November 14, the program will feature parades, traditional food, and more.

Visitors can also expect grand parades, a range of live performances that reflect the fascinating folklore and rich cultures, lots of tasty treats, and lively bazaars where you can shop for handicrafts and knick-knacks. For the little ones, they can look forward to a kids’ play area and a variety of carnival games.
The parades will include bird, flower, and butterfly articles and prop four dancers. As the unfolds, you can also look forward to exploring traditional Bangladeshi clothes, a flower and henna booth. You can also look forward to checking out colourful traditional masks crafted from materials like wood and paper-mâché.
Feeling peckish? The cultural festival at Al-Suwaidi Park is about many things, and food is one of them. So, be sure to browse through the food stalls and taste your way through a world of flavours. For Bangladesh Week, we’re expecting to tuck into classics like chaat, morog pulao, sweet curd, pitha, and sugarcane.
The festival, which includes 11 cultures over 49 days, takes you on a journey around the world through traditional foods, music, dances, and handicrafts.
And the best part is, Suwaidi Park is one of the Riyadh Season zones that you can enter for free. However, you’re still required to book tickets on the WeBook platform.
After Bangladesh Week at Suwaidi Park 2025, we can look forward to Suwaidi Park celebrating the cultures of Egypt, the Levant, Yemen, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Sudan.
