Ravers, listen up
Riyadh’s music and entertainment scene is always heating up. In just a few weeks, we’ll be welcoming Soundstorm 2025, and now, in February, we’ll be heading back to the dance floor for Freaks of Nature Episode 7: The Freak Yard in Riyadh.
Set to happen across two weekends during February, Thursday Feburary 5 and Friday February 6, and Thursday February 12 and Friday February 13, Freaks of Nature is a series of boutique electronic music and arts festivals, a brand born in Saudi Arabia and loved globally.
Each event is a multi-sensory experience, featuring electrifying dance, stunning visuals, immersive special effects, and flamboyant costumes. Freaks of Nature is beyond music, captivating audiences with an unforgettable, transformative atmosphere.
This time around, Freak Yard in Riyadh will unfold across three stages and bring together 120 DJs. Headliners haven’t been announced just yet, but stay tuned to
What’s On Saudi Arabia for the latest. Previous editions of the festival have seen Lost Frequencies, Morten, Agents of Time, Nic Fanciulli, Toby Romeo, and 39 Kingdom.
The history
Starting its journey in 2021 as a small activation at
XP Music Futures, Episode 1: Freak Show was intended to be a one-off music festival, where 10 local DJs took the stage, and a massive, electric crowd showed up and never stopped. And thus, Freaks of Nature was born. What began as an activation became the start of a cultural shift—the beginning of the Freak era.
So far, the festival has taken over Amsterdam for Episode 6 during the iconic Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in partnership with MMATH twice. The second time was for the ADE Showcase, where Freaks of Nature made its triumphant return after a two-year hiatus.
