Julien by Daniel Boulud

It’s a first-of-its-kind concept in Riyadh (and Saudi Arabia, we dare say). Serving modern fine dining French cuisine (rooted in classic French technique, but with Saudi-inspired surprises that nod to local produce and flavours), Julien is an exclusive private chef’s table and intimate venue that accommodates a maximum of 12 diners. Each 10-course dish is prepared and delicately plated to be as pleasing to the palate as to the eye. This is where every ingredient has its place and purpose, and is treated with the utmost care to highlight its purest flavours. This concept debuted in Riyadh in May this year to instant acclaim. Although available for dinner service on select nights only and strictly by reservation, the winner of Newcomer of the Year for the What’s On Saudi Arabia Awards 2025 invites diners to see the culinary masters at work, while tucking in at some of the Kingdom’s most coveted tables.
Location: Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, Kingdom Centre, Olaya Street, Al Olaya, Riyadh 11321

The Globe

The Globe is a stellar 35th-floor dining experience split across a restaurant and a lounge one floor up at the top of Al Faisaliah Tower. The restaurant is traditionally adorned with a red carpet and crisp white tablecloths, and while it might not have the modern pizzazz of some of its counterparts within the hotel, its 360-degree views from the curved floor-to-ceiling windows mean you won’t be looking at the decor. As all tables face the view, there’s not a bad seat in the house, and the Mediterranean menu is best enjoyed by opting for one of the signature set menus, where you’ll get to try prettily plated options like poached Canadian lobster and quail Consommé.
Location: Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, King Fahd Road, Al Olaya, Riyadh, 11491
Timings: Sun to Thurs 7pm to 11.30pm, Fri & Sat 3pm to 6pm, 8pm to 11.30pm

Tucked away inside Hōchō, this place is where chef Hassan’s imagination runs free. Featured in the Michelin Guide Saudi Arabia, Hōchō, the main restaurant, already delivers an exceptional experience, while the exclusive private Rubi Room sits at the very top. The omakase-style journey unfolds over around 19 courses, with Halal Kobe beef being at the heart of the menu.
