Grammy Award-winning Gipsy Kings to perform in AlUla next year

The kings of rumba, salsa, and flamenco will perform at the iconic Maraya in January 2026

Chart-topping guitar slingers, the Gipsy Kings, are back in Saudi Arabia, this time bringing their flamenco magic to AlUla. After a brief one-day performance in Riyadh, fans can now enjoy an entire evening of iconic hits and captivating rhythms in one of the world’s most breathtaking concert venues.

So, mark your calendars for Friday January 2, 2026. This musical family, led by founder André Reyes, blends tradition with fresh energy. They will bring a sizzling mix of Catalan rumba, flamenco, pop, salsa, rock and Latin rhythms to the stunning Maraya Hall – an architectural marvel with shimmering mirrored walls that beautifully reflect the splendour of AlUla.

Having sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, their self-titled 1987 album, Gipsy Kings, was a global phenomenon, certified gold and platinum in numerous countries and charting for 40 weeks in the US. The album introduced their most enduring hits, including Bamboléo, Djobi Djoba, and the ballad Un Amor.

And that’s not all. Joining the group is renowned Lebanese-Armenian composer and pianist Guy Manoukian, whose signature fusion of Middle Eastern melodies and modern arrangements has dazzled audiences at the Sydney Opera House, London Palladium, and the Paris Olympia.

The performance by the Gipsy Kings and Guy Manoukian on January 2 will be part of the Maraya Classical Concert Series. It will take place alongside Winter at Tantora, AlUla’s flagship cultural festival and a cornerstone of the AlUla Moments calendar.
