Jeddah to host the AFC Champions League Elite Finals 2026

Time and time again, Jeddah lights up with incredible, world-class events, and 2026 is no different. On the horizon, we’ve got the Jeddah E-Prix, Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and, of course, in April, the AFC Champions League Elite Finals 2026 in Jeddah.
The tournament will be held in a centralised format from Thursday April 16 to Saturday April 25, Having both hosted the 2025 edition of the ACL Elite Finals, the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium will once again serve as the battlegrounds for the final seven showdowns of the 2025/26 season of the ACL Elite.

The AFC Champions League Elite (ACL Elite) is the biggest club football tournament in Asia. It brings together the top teams from all over the continent. Organised by the Asian Football Confederation, it’s where national league champions (and top runners-up) battle it out to become Asia’s most elite club. There is also the USD12 million prize for the winning team.
How it works
The tournament is played between 24 teams from all over the continent, all after a spot in the top eight. If a team wins the AFC Champions League Elite Finals 2026 in Jeddah, and you make it to the FIFA Club World Cup and Intercontinental Cup.
The final selection for the final eight teams for the ACL Elite Finals Jeddah 2026 will be revealed on Wednesday March 25.
The schedule
The final stage of the tournament will feature the eight clubs that reached the knockout rounds competing in a single-elimination format. The quarter-final matches will be held from April 16 to 18, followed by the semi-finals on April 20 and 21, with the final taking place on April 25, 2026.
AFC Asian Cup 2027
Footie fans will be happy to know that an incredible tournament is making its debut in the Kingdom. The countdown has officially begun for the 19th edition of the AFC Asian Cup. Happening from January 7, 2027 to February 5, 2027, across the Kingdom, the tournament will be happening in cities like Jeddah, Riyadh, and Khobar. The Kingdom will be hosting Asia’s top 24 national teams.
