Due to ongoing regional developments affecting the Middle East airspace, several airlines have announced an extension of the initial suspension of flights to and from Saudi Arabia. So, if you’re flying in or out of the Kingdom, it’s worth double-checking your booking before heading to the airport. These are the latest Saudia flight updates to know about.
The national carrier announced that the cancellations have been extended, citing safety concerns amidst rising tensions. Limited flights to and from Dubai have been resumed, and certain cancellations have been extended.

Affected passengers are being notified directly and advised to check their bookings before travelling to the airport, with Saudia emphasising that passenger and crew safety remains its top priority.
Limited flights to and from Dubai have been resumed
In a statement made by the airline on X, formerly Twitter, it was announced that flights to and from Dubai have been resumed, but as we said, on a very limited schedule. The following services have been restarted:
Outbound flights:
SV596: Riyadh to Dubai
SV588: Dubai to Riyadh
Inbound flights:
SV597: Dubai to Riyadh
SV589: Riyadh to Dubai
Flights will operate on a limited schedule initially, with additional services expected to be restored progressively. Further updates will be shared through the airline’s official channels.
Flights to and from these destinations have been suspended
Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, has announced that due to airspace closures, flights to and from eight destinations remain cancelled. These include flights from Amman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Moscow, and Peshawar and will remain suspended.
Flights to and from Amman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Bahrain have been suspended until 11.59pm on Tuesday March 10. Flights to and from Moscow, Russia and Peshawar, Pakistan will remain suspended until Sunday March 15.
